My water-related publications

My first book, The End of Abundance (2011) was more academic (footnotes, references) than Living with Water Scarcity (2014), which is shorter and punchier.

If you want some deeper reading, I suggest these...

Urban water
Water managers
Bulk water
If you do NOT want deeper reading, then check out My interviews in the press and public talks, My book and movie reviews, and/or My popular (shorter) essays

  1. You do not have documents on how each country/utility calculate rates? I know methodologies in many countries/cities but itr has been impossible to kow exactly the methodology (formulas) used by Ofwat

    1. No I do not, and I agree that the process is opaque. I'm guessing that's because many rates are based on negotiation, not formulas or empirical calculation.
