A year later and still worth a read...
The Nilometer is no longer used. That's a pity since the "controlled" Nile delivers fewer benefits to 75+ percent of Egyptians who live in the Nile Delta.
Garbage in Egypt is one of my longer (to write) posts. I'm guessing the "garbage problem" (and destruction of fisheries) will be worse in Egypt's current political situation.
