Take control

  1. On the other hand... No simpler, easier way of earning a living in this world has yet been invented. 40 hours of work a week gets you the wherewithal to pay someone else to grow, process, ship, and prepare your food for you, and build and maintain your shelter, leaving you time for entertainment and hobbies. It's certainly true that you have a choice, but be realistic about it. I'm living the homesteader life and loving it, but I guarantee it is not the "simple life" people dream of.
