- The OECD's Sustainable Management of Water Resources in Agriculture has massive amounts of information (some of it written by readers of this blog :) on prices in Australia, the EU, US, Mexico and so on...
- Spotted owls did not cause unemployment among loggers. I wonder if these researchers are interested in looking into the connection between deliveries of ag water and jobs? :)
- The World Bank "supports water projects with insufficient regard for countries' actual need." Instead of doing projects in water-poor countries, the Bank funds them (dams) in water-rich countries.
- Australian environmentalists buy water from farmers to recharge lakes. Good.
- I'm shocked, shocked, that these Central Valley legislators traded their votes on healthcare for greater water supplies. Rush Limbaugh is upset, but he's a drug addict who should not be calling people "hypocrites"
- China blocks Copenhagen. It's a ludic game, as I said (the only rules are that there are no rules).
