GIO: Supply Chain Competition

Question 11: What benefits might society accrue if the water supply chain was opened to competition?

  1. Cheaper, better, faster.

    There's a cost to competition (tendering bids, monitoring, measuring), but that's probably trivial.

    Many European cities own their water systems but put management out to tender.
